Healthy treats don’t have to taste like a cupboard 🤪!

I love experimenting with recipes where mainstream ingredients are replaced by healthier versions, without compromising the taste.

I made this Lactose /Gluten Free Banana 🍌 & Walnuts Bread over the weekend as a treat for the whole family & for an afternoon treat to save time during the week. 😉Hope you will like it as much as we did.

🍌Lactose /Gluten Free Banana & Walnuts Bread.

200g almond flour
.
170g / 2 medium mashed bananas
.
5 eggs large
.
35g coconut oil, liquid
.
25g stevia
.
2 tsp cinnamon
.
1 tsp baking powder
.
40g walnuts, crushed (optional)
.
Seeds from 1 vanilla pod
.
Pinch of salt
.
Instructions:
.
Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius / 356 Fahrenheit.
.
Beat the eggs, mushed banana, coconut oil until smooth.
In another bowl, stir together the dry ingredients – almond flour, stevia, cinnamon and baking powder.
.
Add mashed banana mix until smooth. Add walnuts.
.
Line a medium size loaf tin with parchment paper and fill in the dough.
.
Bake for abt 40 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean.
.
Let the banana bread cool completely before slicing. . Recipe inspired by #sugarfreelondoner
